Basketball is the fastest growing sport in Canada and we make it our highest priority to provide the ultimate experience for each player to embrace this potential life changing sport. We welcome beginner and advanced players.
Our qualified coaches are motivated and passionate about teaching the basic fundamentals of the game and focus on helping the player to develop better shooting, dribbling and passing skills to improve their individual ability. All of our Swish opportunities up until the age of eight are mixed and is not gendered specific.

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THIS!
THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE NEWEST OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE QUINTE REGION AND IT'S LOCAL YOUTH.
The Recreational League will be a chance for our local youth to experience basketball and grow in this great sport. Wither youth want to increase their skills for tryouts, to go on to play next level, to get ready for high school or simply just want to play and learn.
The league will also be a chance for Next Level Spirits basketball to scout out new players and grow their organization.
The league will have official referees for each game. Youth will play one game per week (10 per team) and will have one training session a week (with all players according to their age/not just their team) Location: Elementary schools. Days: Week days (TBD) Sessions for training and to organize teams will begin in September 2024. Games will begin in October and everything will finish up in March with a big Tournament.
VOLUNTEERS are vital for the success of this opportunity. Each team will require one parent/adult to COACH and adult/high school student to ASSIST. We need Parents to set up and help. We provide incentives for parents/adults who choose to do so and volunteer hours for high school students. (email us for details)
SPONSORSHIP- Each team will require a sponsor ($350.00) The Sponsor will have their business name or family name on the back of each Jersey and will get honourable mentions during games and at the year end tournament. This is important to us because SPONSORSHIP helps us keep our fees affordable for players. Without it costs are high. (See our Sponsorship form) THANK YOU!
Registered Players will receive a players and parents code of conduct hand book, team uniform (Jersey and Shorts), one game and one training session a week, year end tournament, team photo and player photo (via email to share with family and friends) and medallion (1,2,3,4 placing)
*Players must provide their own proper size basketball (Size 5 for youth ages 8-10 and size 6 ages 11-12) DO NOT Bring a regular size ball. Players will also require to wear proper basketball shoes with good treads for training and games.
